Extra Coin will take part in the Steam Next Fest in June: the demo is available

From June 16th to 22nd on Steam will take place the Next Fest, the digital event which will allow users to discover and try out the most important indie games currently in development and close to the release: the event will give space to demos, livestreams and Q&As with the developers.

 
CINIC Games will partecipate in the event with its new title in development, Extra Coin, publicly releasing a demo which shows the main mechanics of the game, taking us directly in the adventure’s prologue. Playing as Mika we will be forced to connect to The Arcade, a virtual social network in which the protagonist’s parents have disappeared, after they gave up on their mortal existence. Mika will then make her way through the challenges and the rules imposed by the social network in order to solve the mystery hidden behind the digital world of The Arcade and its creators.

 Even though its arcade nature, Extra Coin is characterized by a strong explorative component and a complex and well structured narrative, which allow the player to make choices which will influence the course of the adventure and the very ending of the game, so as to ensure a natural replayability to discover all its possible narrative branches.

The demo will allow the player to get to know also with the more arcady component of Extra Coin, through a Versus Mode in which he can test himself in free matches, beside starting to collect the first crumbs of the mystery that Mika will try to solve during her adventure.

 Extra Coin, announced last September, will be available in the Q4 of 2021 on PC and consoles. In order to follow its development and keep updated on the game, we invite you to visit the Steam page where some Dev Diaries will be posted periodically and our Discord server.
